Hot Club de Paris were headlining the April JD set (Jack Daniels touring night) at Nottingham’s Junktion 7, I’ve not heard them for a while and their punky indy pop sound has got decidely more upbeat. The three had some decent tunes on offer, all of which was overlaid with lashings of cheeky scouse banter, good fun.
Shooting in Junktion 7 is no mean feat, low ceilings, black decor and a handful of lights. Hats off to the friendly tech guys for helping out with the lighting program, combined with a dash of off camera flash and there were some decent pics to be had.
